Christmas Tree Mishap...

My kids and I were really excited to put up the Christmas tree this year, so we got started on it on Thanksgiving. Our scrawny little Christmas tree has been a bit on the wobbly side for a couple of years now, but I was hoping I could make it last just one more season. Well...it made it through the night, but a leg on the plastic stand snapped and it literally came crashing down, ornaments and all, the next day, lol.

But I did get one last picture of it before it came to it's dramatic end. We have a little tradition...I hand the ornaments to my kids one at a time and they hang them. Well, my son Cody got bored after hanging only a few, so the majority of the first box of ornaments were hung by my daughter Abby, who is pretty tiny. I had to take a picture of the tree...I couldn't help but laugh at the placement of the ornaments. There are a few ornaments in the middle and at the top from when Cody was involved...but Abby obviously couldn't reach very high!




(And don't laugh at the extremely gaudy tree skirt...I just can't help myself sometimes! lol)



At least I had a good excuse to get a new tree. Here is our new, slightly taller, Christmas tree (after I did a little ornament re-arranging):

Waiting List Is Closed...

I have now officially closed my waiting list, so I will have the time to get caught up on my all of my orders before Christmas. I Will Be Closing My Waiting List...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be closing my waiting list on September 15th, so that I will be able to catch up on my orders. This will also give me some time to make some brand new ornaments for this Christmas...I've got some good ones coming, so be sure you keep checking my site over the next few months!

Finally Done Moving...
